VOICE STRESS
SPECIALISTS

Today more important than ever protecting your company secrets, assets and reputation is more difficult than ever before. Knowing who is lying or truthful to you is a necessity not a luxury.

During the Vietnam War truth verification was developed to determine if the enemy when captured and interrogated was revealing truthful information. A VOICE STRESS ANALYZER was developed and proved to be virtually 100% accurate detecting lies. When a person speaks there are two frequencies present which are AM and FM. When deception occurs the FM frequency disappears and the AM remains. The voice frequency is recorded on paper and interpreted to determine truthfulness or deception. During modern times the VOICE STRESS ANALYZER has been a daily asset for protection of business, and provides peace of mind in personal relations. The uniqueness of the VSA is the versatility of its use. You can analyze the truth just about anywhere the radio, TV, old or new recordings, telephone, or in person without the knowledge of the intended target. Popularity of the VSA rapidly spread after the 1979 Great Debate between Carter & Reagan. ABC asked Dr. Barry Kaufman to determine live during the debate the truthfulness of the two candidates. Dr. Kaufman determined that President Carter was deceptive when he made the statement the our Social Security System was sound. The rest is history!

ABOUT POLYGRAPHS

For as long as human beings have deceived each other, people have tried to develop techniques for detecting deception and determining truth. These techniques have almost always included interviews and interrogations to try to see through deception and reveal what a deceiver will not freely admit. In the 20th century, lie detection took on scientific aspects with the development of techniques that use measures of physiological responses as indicators of deception.

The best known of these is the polygraph. This technique, which relies on physiological measurements developed early in the century, has become for many in the U.S. law enforcement and intelligence communities (including counterintelligence officials in several agencies with whom we met) the most valued method for identifying criminals, spies, and saboteurs when direct evidence is lacking.

Polygraph examinations are widely used in the United States and in some other countries (notably, Israel, Japan, and Canada) for three main purposes: They are used for pre employment screening in law enforcement and pre employment or pre clearance screening in agencies involved in national security, they are used for screening current employees, especially in security-sensitive occupations and they are used in investigations of specific events, for instance, in criminal cases.
